471. Robert Warren Hugins

Robert and Anthea had no children. Robert's date and place of death is from the Social Security Death Index, which was confirmed by a death certificate.

Robert graduated from Princeton University in 1943 with an A.B. in architecture. He was a member of the Prospect Club while at Princeton. He served in the U.S. Navla Reserve (Lieutenant, Junior Grade) as a deck officer aboard the U.S.S. "Yorktown" and the U.S.S. "Yahara." He was underwriting director of Phillipine American Life Insurnace Co. (1947-50), manager of the Life Department of Sequros & Caracas (1950-52), was assitant manager of American Life Insurance Co. in Karachi, Pakistan (1952-55), office manager of same in Wilmington, Delaware (1955-57), and was department head of same in Bermuda (1957-after 1960). He was active in teaching Sunday school in Manila, the Philipines, Caracas, Venezuela, Bermuda and Limestone Presbyterian Church in Wilmington. He was a bassoonist in the Karachi and Wilmington Symphony Orchestras.


342. Carson Riddle

Carson graduated from the University of Colorado (Civil Engineering, 1930). Carson's date and place of death are from the Social Security Death Index.


344. Elizabeth Rea Riddle

Elizabeth attended the University of Denver and Colorado State Teachers College.

According to the Social Security Death Index, Elizabeth lived in Montana at some point after 1935 (when the Social Security Act was passed). She died in Golden, Colorado. According to Lester's SSDI data, they may have also lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the 1970s.


Lester William Bartsch

Lester earned a civl engineering degree (cum laude) at the University of Wisconsin.


Pliny Jewell, Jr.

Pliny attended Milton Academy and Harvard University (1931). He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve 1942-1945, rising from Lieutenant Jr. Grade to Lieutenant Commander.


359. Cleveland Dodge Rea

Cleveland attended Shady Side Academy (1931), the Evans School, Princeton Univeristy (A.B., 1936), Harvard Law School (LL.B., 1939) and he was a member of the Cum Laude Association of Shady Side Academy. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve (1944-46), rising from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade. He was a banker and served as assistant vice president, Trust Department, Mellon National Bank & Trust Co. He was treasurer of Pressley House.
