215. Edith Anne Rea

Edith attended The Masters. She was active in the Women's Auxiliary of Sewickley Valley Hospital, and the American Red Cross (at Walter Reed Hospital, during WWI).


216. Henry Oliver Rea

Henry attended St. Mark's and Yale University. He served aboard the U.S.S. Wyoming in the U.S. Navy as a communications offier during WWI and rose from Ensign to Lieutentant. He was a financier and industrialist and was chairman of the board of Pittsburgh Business Properties, Inc. and the Oliver Tyrone Corporation (1935-1955). He was director of Oliver Iron & Steel Company (1925-1955) and held various directorships and trusteeships. He was a trustee of Sewickley Valley Hospital, and was a member of the board of directors of Pittsburghh Skin and Cancer Foundation.

Henry donated the "Records of the Oliver Iron and Steel Company" to the company's archives January 15, 1964. Apparently, he was also a local historian (in Pittsburgh), as well as an accomplished genealogist. Henry was the author of "Samuel Rea, 1725-1811, Heritage and Descendants," (1960, Tyrone Printing Co. Ltd., Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland).
