Welcome
to the Rea Surname DNA Project! The project was founded in August 2002 by
Gary Rea of Oklahoma City and has grown steadily ever since. Today, there
are over seventy members across the U.S., Canada, the UK and Australia.
Multiple matches have occurred. In December 2003, the project was expanded
to include all variations of the surname MacRae and this has since resulted
in matches that prove a link between Reas and the Clan MacRae of Scotland
(the name Rea is a sept of MacRae). The project is open to all males of
the surname Rea or MacRae and all spelling variations and places of origin
are welcome. |
