Rea Lineages

In addition to cataloging as many different Rea lines as possible, the Rea Surname DNA Project has, among its objectives, the tracking of individuals descended from specific known Rea lineages. As more of these are discovered, they will be added to the list of lineages below. All lines are listed according to the earliest known ancestor in that line.

Some lines in which there may be earlier known ancestors who are not as yet proven will show the earliest known ancestor for whom good documentation exists.

Note that the list of ancestors below are the known ancestors of each of the existing Rea Surname DNA Project participants, so, as matches with these participants occur, those who match them will then know what line they descend from, and can compare notes with the other participants. The objective of presenting this list is to aid us all in finding our common ancestors.
